Spis mye meieriprodukter og lev lenger?
Man kan aldri konkludere noe sikkert av såkalte Cohort studier, men en analyse av forskninslitteraturen på meieriprodukter, fra april i år, peker tydelig mot at meieriprodukter, som f. eks melk, yoghurt og ost, er sunt.
Personer med et høyt inntak av meieriprodukter har betydelig redusert sjanse for dødsfall (i studieperiodene), inkl. sjansen for iskemisk hjertesykdom, hjerneslag og sukkersyke/diabetes. Det er ikke mange studier på spesifikke meieriprodukter, men det er ingen tydelige bevis på skade fra enkelte meieriprodukter. Se studien her: The Consumption of Milk and Dairy Foods and the Incidence of Vascular Disease and Diabetes: An Overview of the Evidence.

Forskjellige typer styrketrening, del 2; Trening for muskelvekst: Nok en interessant post fra Lyle McDonald. Hva er forskjellen på styrketrening og trening for muskelvekst (hypertrofi)? Kan Hyperplasi (økning i antall muskelceller, framfor hypertrofi – som er økning i størrelsen) faktisk skje?

Vi trenger vel egentlig ikke forskning her, men jeg elsker musikk – så jeg ‘koseleste’ litt om det på Pubmed, og ser at forskning også viser det jeg alltid har tenkt; Musikk og trening går hånd i hånd 🙂
