For ca 3 uker siden så jeg Glenn Pendlay sin DVD om teknikk i vektløfting – Olympic Lifting Techniques DVD, her er en sammenligning av min teknikk før og etter 3 uker med trening.
Mitt maksløft før jeg så Pendlay’s DVD var på 90 kg (video/bilde nr. 2 nedenfor), og i går satt jeg min nye pers på 92,5 kg. 2,5 kg på 3 uker er ikke noe å rope hurra over, men nå har hovedfokuset mitt vært teknikk, og etterhvert som jeg får inn teknikken bedre vil nok vektene følge etter 🙂
Det er også vært å merke at mens jeg følte med gira og i bra form ved 90 kg videoen, så følte jeg med sliten i går, men likevel satt jeg altså ny pers – og det uten å misse et eneste løft! Jeg misser gjerne et par løft når jeg går for ny pers i en av vektløftingsøvelsene…
Det jeg har jobbet på er å ‘drille’ inn de forskjellige delene av løften gjennom oppdelingen Pendlay snakker om i sin DVD, samt her. Jeg har også at spesielt fokus på å starte løftet med hofta lavere, vekta mer fram på foten og knærne framfor stanga, for så å flytte vekten mot hælen gjennom første del av løftet (hvor knærne utløses og ryggen holdes i posisjon). I ‘2th pull’ har jeg hatt fokus på å smelle hofta/lårene hardt inn i stanga, og de siste dagene har jeg også trent på å droppe ned raskere og ta imot stanga i en lavere posisjon, slik at jeg ikke trenger å løfte den like høyt, og dermed kan løfte mer..

Det så jo knall ut, og du skal ikke snøfte av 2.5KG på tre uker, 1.25 vektskivene er nok mine beste venner når det kommer til progresjon om dagen, og det går ofte tre pluss uker før nye 2.5 KG blir blir ny «pers».
Takk for det! Er fan av å bruke de små vektskivene jeg også, skulle kanskje hatt et par 0,5 kg skiver også – blir definitivt lettere med hyppig framgang med slike små progresjoner, og totalt sett tror jeg progresjonen blir bedre.
Det er så kult med olympiske løft!!
